This ingenius development is the brain child of instructors at the federation. It involves complex electronics and power delivery to ensure an accurate reading. The Principle is simple, to gauge the accuracy and power of your kicks/punches. As you can see on the diagram it is split into several sections. The 5 LEDS show your accuracy out of 5 i.e. illuminating 3 LED's mean a fairly accurate strike. The numerical counter shows your power rating. This is gauged from 1 - 9 i.e. a level of 5 is a fairly powerful strike.* Example: Kicking the pad your reading shows as 5 LED's lit and the number 2. A very accurate strike but lacking in power. 5 LED's and the number 9 is the maximum score! See what you can achieve! |
